Parents Meeting Year 7

Thank you to all parents of year 7 yesterday! I just hope you enjoyed and understood the teaching and evaluation methods of the subject much better.  As I said to you, this webpage is not just for students but everybody interested in learning a little bit more about Geography and History in a more relaxed and open environment. Project & Presentation Year 9s

A project is coming... you must pay attention to the instructions and work hard as this grade is going to be needed for this term. You will do some work as part of a team and you will do some work individually too. Everything must be done properly and handed in on time. Be careful with the deadlines. Any project that is not done correctly will be repeated and the whole group could be penalised. More information in our next lesson. :-)

Dear pupils,

Please can you excuse my absense from class, as you noticed last week I could not talk much as I did have some pain in my throat. Even so I was there as usual and I did not miss a lesson. As a consecuence of that I have been forcing my throat too much, I did have an overdose of lessons and substitutions plus low temperatures making everything worse. For that reason my throat and body gave me a signal on friday and needed to go to doctor. He said I need to rest at least for a few days or I could make things worst. So I need to rest my voice, not to talk at all (very difficult for some of you... I know!!!) .We will see how I am on monday or tuesday. In the mean time I am sending my work for the day or days I am not there and you suppose to be working as usual. I will be checking everything when I am back. Thank you all, for your support, understanding and sweet messages.

Documental for Year 9 and 11

This is very interesting documental to explain the economic crisis we are going through and the connections with the different groups of people and organisations behind it all. The unit about globalisation and TNCs that we explained in the last term will help you to understand this video. This documental is going to show you that we are all guilty of the actual situation but with different levels of responsability. The poor people because they wanted to reach other levels very quickly and in an unreal way....and the very rich because they wanted to be richer and richer no matter what....and they are not ready to help to fix the problem now. During this term we are investigating physical and human geography of China. One of the issue we focused on was their economy.
